Marymount University (VA) - Men's and Women's Graduate Assistant
Marymount University is seeking a graduate assistant for our Men's and Women's Tennis program. Marymount University, an NCAA Division 3 institution, will begin competition in Fall 2019 in the Atlantic East Conference.
Marymount is a comprehensive Catholic university that emphasizes the liberal arts, career preparation, and personal and professional development. A diverse and welcoming learning community, Marymount serves nearly 4000 undergraduate and graduate students. The university's location in suburban Arlington, Virginia, offers easy access to the rich resources of our nations capital -- Washington DC. The position pays for tuition and comes with a small stipend. A valid drivers license is required.
Responsibilities include understanding of the NCAA Division 3 philosophy and model, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes to the MU Tennis program, travel, assist in practices, on court coaching during matches, scouting, equipment inventory and maintenance, player development and organization and management.
NOTE: Eventual admission into the graduate school is required. Concurrent application is recommended. Aspirations in a collegiate coaching career path is preferred but not required.
