Graduate Assistant Coach – Women’ Tennis
University of West Georgia, a NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference, is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant coaching position for the Women’s Tennis team. This position will assist with all aspects of supporting a collegiate program, including assisting with daily office duties, recruiting, practice planning, scheduling travel arrangements, coaching and support on game days, assisting with equipment and gear (ordering, distributing and maintaining), assisting with study hall and academic support of student-athletes as well as compliance with all NCAA, Gulf South and university rules and regulations.
An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and acceptance into a University of West Georgia Graduate School program is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in collegiate tennis, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate student-athletes in a group or individual setting. This position will include a tuition waiver and housing (dorm). Computer skills (MS Office, excel) are required. Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.
